Winter Storm Causes Headaches For Travel in The US Northeast

Winter storm nicknamed, Garret, is causing headaches for travel in the US Northeast. The storm is spreading moderate to heavy snowfall according to The Weather Channel.


Multiple airports in the area have issued alerts, including JFK, LaGuardia, and Boston Logan Intl’.





A John F. Kennedy Airport spokesman released a statement at 6:25 local time, stating that 221 flight had already been canceled. LaGuardia confirmed that 331 flights were canceled at their airport. Boston Logan Intl’ did not release a statement regarding the amount of flights canceled in connection to the weather.


The storm is expected to continue through friday.
